Our Small Women and Minority (SWam) firm is committed to diversity and inclusion with a focus on creating opportunities in the online gaming sports betting arena.  We have teamed up with 888 Sports and Sports Illustrated making contributions to communities across Virginia, specifically minority communities, to drive meaningful value, opportunity, and diversity for consumers in the state.

Sheila Hill-Christian

​Sheila Hill-Christian was appointed by Virginia Governor Tim Kaine to serve as the first African American Executive Director of the Virginia Lottery. She was also appointed by Richmond Mayor L. Douglas Wilder to serve as the Chief Administrative Officer for the Capitol City of Richmond, Virginia, which has an annual budget of over $750 million. Additional public service roles include: Assistant City Manager for the City of Cincinnati, Ohio; Interim City Manager and Deputy City Manager for the City of Portland, Maine; Executive Director of the Richmond Redevelopment and Housing Authority; and Chief Operating Officer of the Greater Richmond Transit Company (GRTC). Sheila was also appointed by Virginia Governor George Allen to serve as Director of the Virginia Department of Juvenile Justice. She currently serves as Managing Director – Business Advisory Practice, Fahrenheit Advisors and as President of Hill-Christian Consulting.

Ida O. McPherson

Ida O. McPherson was appointed by Virginia Governor Robert McDonnell to serve from 2010 – 2014 as the Director of the Virginia Department of Small Business and Supplier Diversity where she was responsible for administering financing programs for Virginia small businesses that totaled $8.5 billion annually in state funded grants and loans. These critically important funds helped thousands of Virginia based small businesses acquire new equipment, expand their service and product offerings and hire new employees. In her Governor appointed statewide leadership position, Ida was also responsible for managing the State’s Small, Women-owned and Minority owned (SWaM) Certification Program and she also successfully secured an annual average of $2.8 billion in state government procurement contracts for SWaM certified businesses. She was appointed by Virginia Governor James Gilmore to serve as Chairman of The Virginia Manufactured Housing Board.
