Online betting and gaming firm 888 has gone live with the SI Sportsbook in the state of Virginia, its second US state launch.
Purposely built for the US market, the SI Sportsbook is a combination of 888’s proprietary technology with the brand of Sports Illustrated.
The sportsbook has a variety of betting options, including enhanced in-play markets, and it utilizes official data from popular sporting leagues and tournaments, such as the NFL, NBA, MLB, NHL, NASCAR, and the English Premier League.
Virginia is the SI Sportsbook’s second US state launch after the sportsbook went live in Colorado last September.
As part of its launch in the Old Dominion state, 888 has agreed to a partnership with Virtual Entertainment Partners LLC (VEP), a Virginia-based Small, Woman-owned, and Minority-owned (SWaM) certified company with 100% African American female ownership.
With VEP’s local expertise, the gaming firm will make ‘significant contributions to communities across Virginia, specifically minority communities, to drive meaningful value, opportunity, and diversity for Virginians’.

Earlier this year, 888 selected Global Payments’ iGaming solutions to power its payment offerings for its SI Sportsbook.
